Clancy Quay Studios + Superprojects Professional Development Programme 2024-25

We are delighted to present Silver Apples of the Moon / Golden Apples of the Sun, an exhibition showcasing the work of the participants of the 2024–25 edition of the Clancy Quay Studios + Superprojects Professional Development Programme for recent arts graduates.

The exhibition title, inspired by the poem The Song of Wandering Aengus, by William Butler Yeats, stems from an exploration of Irish myths that reference dreams. The legend of Aengus, a figure from Irish mythology, resonates with the shared themes of mythology and dreams that unite the diverse works on display. Showcasing 15 artists and 15 works, the exhibition includes various media including painting, photography, sculpture, video and celebrates the creativity and talent of the artists involved in this year’s programme, offering a unique insight into their innovative practices and their interpretations of these rich and timeless themes.

Join us for the Opening Night on Thursday 6 February 2025, from 6 PM to 9 PM at Clancy Quay Studios, Kilmainham, Dublin, D08RPF8. The exhibition will further continue every day from 10-5 until Sunday 9th February. We look forward to welcoming you!
